PLA - Polylactic Acid is a low warp, sweet smelling, bio-friendly plastic rapidly becoming the 3D Printing material of choice for homes and classrooms. PLA can produce sharp features and is a strong and rigid plastic. PLA normally extrudes at a lower temperature than ABS depending on extruder design and print speed and can be printed without a heated print bed.
